Locked design rules
- Master metaphor: you can't see the forest for the trees — chrome justifies itself against the work and the people, or it goes.
- Palette: warm ivory (#F6F0E1) and deep green (#1C3B2A), gold accent. Soft edges everywhere. Calm through color and design.
- Controls: "millennial" — visible, complete transport controls. The SoundCloud player shape for audio; simple play/pause + scrubber for video.
- Actions on work pages: interaction forward, not snatching the file — the Appreciate heart owns the green pill; download is a muted quiet button.
- Comfort ladder: furniture, not signage. One quiet line ("Your comfort setting: SFW"); the full SFW/NSFW/NSFL/OMGWTFBBQ ladder lives in settings.
- User pages: MySpace-style, user-customizable (HTML/BBCode).
- Groves: community spaces seeded by their creators, with drop-in voice ("the clearing"). The platform is the infinite forest.
