Fourth in the ember series — same window light, colder palette. I let the underpainting stay loud this time and I think it finally works. Thanks to everyone in Amber Afternoons who talked me off the ledge on the highlights.

Full resolution PNG. Use it, remix it, just don't repost it as your own — and if you make something with it, I'd love to see it.

The underpainting showing through is the whole thing. Don't you dare tidy it in the next one.

Downloaded for a reference board — the warm/cool break at the rim is exactly what I've been failing at all week.

Number 3 walked so this could run. Gorgeous.

The colder palette suits you. Also hi from Pixel Pines, we've been stealing your window light for weeks now.
